I suddenly caught inspiration today, and saw on my computer screen the
little sticker with my name on it. It's a Bubblegum picture, you know, the
cute little greeting cards, anyway, I did a search on the internet and found
a website with hundreds of the pictures on it! So I downloaded loads
of them, and today made a layout with one of them... ironically an ice cream
one. It's ironic, because the past month's
template challenge was...
yep, you guessed it, ice cream, and all I could find were crappy images with
no potential. Until today. On the last day of voting. Still. This
is the cutest layout! I'd have this one if all my diaries weren't themed.
Wow, another layout in the same day! This is a lovely one from Getty
Images, in a table of images. I really like the soft greens I've used for
the text and links. Love it. Ahhhhh. Could go to sleep... right... now...
Heh.
Aha! I have finally been able to register with
Image Cafe and have access to all
their lovely photos... and yes, I love Image Cafe now. I have loads of
links I need to add to the Links page now. I'll get round to it soon I'm
sure. So yes, a lovely dark layout featuring the glow of the moon rippling
across the lake. Go check it out.
Here's a template using a computer generated image of some tulips. The
artist being the very talented Jonathan
Hunt. This layout took a while to get perfect, I was almost at the
point of pulling out my hair, but it came together in the end, and I'm very
pleased with the results.
Ooooh. Ice maiden, eh? I love this picture, and especially the cool
colours. I love using wallpapers as the base of an image, as they're large
and generally good quality, with hardly any watermarking on them. This was
from Free Computer
Wallpapers and the brushes I used on the image were from
Colour Dreams, and they're great.
The Angelina template now has a matching guestbook! If you are using the
Angelina template, you can now also use the guestbook template. This is
coded to work with SignMyGuestbook
guestbooks, so if you have any other guestbook, you need to code it to work
yourself.
Taken from a great wallpaper
site, this picture begged to have something fancy done to it. And
something fancy happened to it! No description will do it justice, just go
and have a look. Caption reads "While the city sleeps..."
On another note, matching wallpapers and guestbooks coming soon...
Mmm. Sushi, looks delicious, but having never tried it, the idea of raw
fish isn't that appealing. Still a good picture from
istockphoto, and a very green
layout. Bright and "in-yer-face". Enjoy!
Voila a Big Brother layout, because I'm addicted. Also, it's quite a cool
picture of a big eye drawn on a beach. Caption reads "Big Brother's
Watching..." and the layout features a top to bottom table that fades into
the picture. Hope all you Big Brother fans enjoy... even though I'm not
sure how many of my visitors watch the UK Big Brother...
On a mission to get out 100 templates before my twentieth birthday, here is
the third one for today, bringing my total to 99. As my birthday is
tomorrow, I still have one more to get out today, so keep your eyes peeled.
Enjoy this groovy baby...
Woohooo! One hundred templates an hour and a half before my 20th birthday!
How 'bout that? This one is an adapted layout from the old MyDesign
butterfly layout, with the caption "Life is like a butterfly... delicate but
beautiful". Nice clean orange and white layout. Hope you enjoy it.
Oh, and if anyone's feeling generous, and in the giving spirit, you may buy
me a birthday present from my
Amazon Wishlist.
But on the other hand I'm not really expecting anything! Here's your chance
to prove me wrong. ;-)
Moody picture, moody layout. A girl standing in front of a doorway, looking
as though she's about to walk out, holding the hem of her skirt. A very
sexy picture, with the words "welcome to my world" on it. I seem to like
using sepia toned pictures lately. Here's another one.
Wooohooo! Another imageless one. Actually, I made this ages ago, and never
got round to putting it online. My better half did the script for changing
the colour schemes on both this layout and the other imageless layout, so
I've got him to thank for that! As well as the pre-determined colour
schemes to choose from, there's a random choice as well, which chooses a
random colour scheme from over 4 million. Keep refreshing to find one you
like!
Raging Pistachio Designs currently has 96 free templates available. When I get to 100 I will start working on offering other things for use, for example desktop backgrounds and matching guestbooks. 4 templates to go!
If you ever get that feeling like you're on your own in the world, like
no-one else cares, you're not alone. Millions of people are going through
the same thing. I did too, so I know how you feel. I wanted to do a layout
with the theme of depression, and with the lyrics from Savage Garden's
Crash and Burn and this one I feel has turned out very well. Please
sign the guestbook if you
use this layout, I'd love to know if it's being used on the web. The same
goes for every layout really, but especially this one. Thank you.
This is a different template to my usual style, it's a swirly sunset layout
but still has a lot of sensible straight edges. It features the lyrics from
the song sung by a variety of artists several years ago, "Perfect Day":
It's such a perfect day - I'm glad I spent it with you... Quite a
romantic layout with soothing oranges and yellows.
Ooooh. This image is divine. A bamboo plant on a window sill, silhouetted
against the window. What makes the image striking is the blinds on the
window, and the lovely blue shades. A kind of peaceful yet beautiful
layout. A possible candidate for next Featured Layout, methinks. And oh so
simple to create. The best kind. :o)
This layout is dark and uses a portrait photo of Christina Ricci. It's a
gorgeous picture, and contains the words "Why Me?" which is what the picture
makes me think of, goodness knows why. So go have a look. On another note,
please go and vote for me, Nicola-RPDesigns at
The Template Challenge
and make me very happy! Thank you!
